1.0 INTRODUCTION
The Internet is the most revolutionary invention of the 20th century. It has contracted the world and made the lives of people easy and productive life. Web browsers act as a pipe to access internet features and help us browse different websites for our daily purpose making most difficult tasks easier. In this article, I will talk about advancements in Google chrome. Since it plays a major role in the field of the internet, you will catch the significance, understand the important features of Google Chrome, and why you should prefer it to other major browsers like Safari, Opera and Mozilla e.t.c

2.1 What is Google Chrome
Google Chrome is a web browser that's free to download from the internet. Created by Google, it's been designed to be both simple to use and fast. Chrome is a free Internet browser officially released by Google on December 11, 2008.

3. Security / Privacy
Google Chrome provides maximum security with its built-in malware and phishing protection, safe browsing technology, and automatic updates to ensure the latest version is always available.

2.1.2 Installation

To start with:
1. Open your Phone Menu

Go to your phone menu and search for Play Store if you’re an Android user. If you’re opening the Play store for the first time, you will be prompted to register an account. Kindly do so by inputting your verified email address and a secure and strict password. After successful registration, you have access to play around the Play Store.

2. Open your Play Store application

When you open your Play store application, this is will enable you to search for any application you want to install on your mobile device. Below is the kind of view or interface you might likely get when you open your play store.

Theme: Google Chrome theme allows you to change the general color of the application. It is more of a switch between dark and light modes. To change the color mode of the Google Chrome browser, click the three vertical dots at the top right of your Google Chrome browser -- Settings  Theme --- Pick a color.

Language preference: When you come across a page written in a language you don't understand, Google Chrome allows you to translate the page. You can use the listed steps to achieve that.

It is important that I mention to you that chrome is not the only browser out there you can use to visit websites on the internet. There are many of them but to mention a few, there is Safari, Opera, Mozilla, and Edge among others.

  1. Safari is a web browser developed by Apple. It is built into Apple's operating systems, including macOS, iOS, and iPadOS, and uses Apple's open-source browser engine WebKit, which was derived from KHTML. Safari was introduced in Mac OS X Panther in January 2003. In the Safari app, you can browse the web, view websites, preview website links, translate webpages, and add the Safari app back to your Home Screen if it gets removed.

  2. Opera is a multi-platform web browser developed by its namesake company Opera. The browser is based on Chromium, but distinguishes itself from other Chromium-based browsers through its user interface and other features.

  3. Mozilla Firefox or simply Firefox, is a free and open-source web browser developed by the Mozilla Foundation and its subsidiary, the Mozilla Corporation. It uses the Gecko rendering engine to display web pages, which implements current and anticipated web standards. It allows users to access information in form of text, audio, images, and videos from around the world.

  4. Mircosoft edge or simply Edge, is a proprietary, cross-platform web browser created by Microsoft. It was first released in 2015 as part of Windows 10 and Xbox One and later ported to other platforms as a fork of Google's Chromium open-source project: Android and iOS, macOS, older Windows versions, and most recently Linux. Edge is a streamlined browser built on web standards and designed for web services. It was code-named Spartan in development, a reference to the browser's lightweight structure, which is designed to make Edge functional across multiple, often mobile, device platforms.
