No, I'm not saying Akhouri Systems is the next Microsoft.
I'm saying something much simpler.
Every technology company—whether it's Microsoft, Apple, Google, or a one-person startup—starts from the same place:
One idea.
Today, Akhouri Systems is tiny.
Microsoft is one of the world's most valuable companies.
The difference isn't where we started.
It's how long they've been building.
I'm 13 years old, and over the last few months I've built multiple desktop applications, dealt with bugs that seemed impossible to fix, learned how difficult it is to get users, and realized that writing
code is only half the job.
The other half is persistence.
Maybe Akhouri Systems stays small.
Maybe it grows into something much bigger.
Nobody knows.
But every major tech company was once a project that almost nobody had heard of.
That's why I don't compare today's Akhouri Systems with today's Microsoft.
I compare today's Akhouri Systems with Microsoft's first day.
Every company has one.
This is ours.

I really appreciate the perspective that every technology company starts with just one idea, and it's the persistence and dedication that sets them apart. As someone who has also worked on personal projects, I can attest to the fact that writing code is only half the job - dealing with bugs, user acquisition, and maintenance can be just as challenging. I think one of the hardest parts of turning a small software project into a real software company is scaling the team and processes while maintaining the initial vision and passion. Do you think that having a strong online presence, such as open-sourcing code on GitHub, can help small projects gain traction and eventually grow into larger companies?
