Boost your programming skills with great discounts on Black Friday and Cyber Monday

Disclaimer: All these links i'm sharing come from personal experience. I've tried and enjoyed all the platforms/author i'm sharing and that is why i am recommending them to you. The link to Educative is an affiliate link, purchase you make on the site will generate a small compensation for me.

Black Friday is over but that does not mean that you can't still get good sales on programming courses and ebooks. In this post i'll show with you some of the sites that have good discounts until Cyber Monday (2nd December).

Educative

Educative is an online platform where you can find many courses, from JavaScript to C, from Python to Kubernetes and even courses to prepare for interviews.

The thing I like about this platform is the way the courses are presented, as interactive tutorials.

Courses on educative are text based but they differ from normal text tutorial because of the interactivity that they offer with their built in code widgets.

Scrimba

Another platform that focuses on interactive courses. In this case they are interactive video courses.

They seem to focus mostly on the JavaScript ecosystem (React,TypeScript,Vue etc...) so you might not find what you are looking for if you are not a JavaScript developer.

Leanpub

My favorite ebook store for programming books. Their selection might not be as big as Amazon but you can totally find everything you need here.
They are running sales until Cyber Monday and you can get many ebooks at very good prices, including mine: The complete guide to modern JavaScript, down 50% at only 4.99.

As an author myself I appreciate Leanpub for the freedom they give to give to authors and for their much better roaylties compared to Amazon so if you can, support your favorite author on this platform!

WesBos

If you got into web development in the past couple of years, chances are that you already know Wes. I took his ES6, React and Node course and i enjoyed them all a lot.

Again, similarly to Scrimba, if you are not a JavaScript developer you can skip ahead.

Note: Wes supports price purchase parity and you will get a major discount buying his courses from a country such as India. That's something I really appreciate.

Pluralsight

I've tried Pluralsight less than the other platforms mostly because I am not a fan of subscription services. I prefer paying for a course but if you don't mind this kind of services, you can get lots of good courses here.

Other sites you can check out are:

If you know of other sites that offer discounts please leave a comment here and share them with everybody.

Enjoy your learning and thanks for reading.

If a post contains affiliate links, that fact must be clearly disclosed. For instance, with language such as: “This post includes affiliate links; I may receive compensation if you purchase products or services from the different links provided in this article.”
