Which AI Search Engine Do You Use Most?
I'm researching how developers actually use AI-powered search in their workflow. Not coding assistants like Copilot — I mean search engines that answer questions and cite sources.
The main ones I'm tracking:
- Perplexity — dedicated AI search with citations
- ChatGPT (with browsing/search) — conversational with web access
- Gemini (Google) — integrated with Google's index
- Copilot (Bing-powered) — Microsoft's AI search
- None of the above — still using traditional Google/DDG
My question for you:

- Do you trust the citations, or do you still verify by clicking through?
