Naming does not need a week. It needs a process and a deadline. Here is the one I use:
One sentence. Write what you are building and who it is for, in plain words. That sentence is the filter for everything that follows.
Fifty words. Spend 15 minutes writing raw words around the idea: verbs it does, feelings it should give, images from its world. Not names, words.
Combine and kill. Mix the words into candidates, then delete anything hard to say out loud, hard to spell after hearing once, so generic it fits any business, or so clever nobody gets it.
Check before you fall in love. Run the survivors through domain and username availability checks while the list is still long. Most will die here, and that is normal. NamerGuide does this check in one place with the date shown, free, no account needed.
Shortlist three, sleep on it. Say each one out loud like you are introducing the project to a stranger. The one that still sounds good in the morning is the winner.
Thirty minutes of work, one evening of sleep, one name you can actually own. Try the availability step here: https://namerguide.com
