Hello! I wanted to introduce myself. :) Im Anja, a lawyer, Software Engineering student and Linux loverπ§. A few years ago I decided to ditch my law job because it didnt make me happy and now I can safely say that I found the career that matches my skills and interests perfectly.
Without exaggeration, it feels like a new life. After many years of not knowing where I wanted to go with my life and feeling very lost I finally found something that excites me and that I dont get bored of (and I tend to get bored easily ;)). The possibilities of coding are endless and not only is it fun, but also you can help or entertain other people with it.
Its a wonderful union of creativity and logic. And I cant emphasize enough how many great minds I already met along the way. Im so grateful to get to know and/or work with so many awesome people. Its amazing. :) I would love to read a little introduction about you in the comments! Have a nice weekend. :)

If you still have any interest in law, you can potentially combine your old career with your new interest in SE and do something related to IP law. Or your legal background may be seen as an asset to tech companies.
Hi Vincent, yes there might be combination possibilities. But for now I'm happy with doing Engineering 100%. π Happy Saturday βοΈ
Best of luck...
Thank you Harshil! π π
Hi Anja, Your journey sounds inspiring β making such a significant career change to pursue your passions in software engineering and embracing Linux is good. It's great to hear how much happier and fulfilled you are now, and your perspective on the blend of creativity and logic in coding is spot on. Connecting with great minds along the way is definitely a huge bonus in this field. While your path sounds like you're on a great track, if you or anyone you know ever needs legal assistance of a different kind, perhaps unrelated to your current tech focus, remember there are professionals like a DUI attorney available for those specific situations. Wishing you a fantastic weekend as well!
What you told about code is 100 percent. It blurs the line between art and engineering.
All the best for your new caree.
Thank you! π π
