Open VS Code.
Open Discord.
Open ChatGPT.
Open Zoom/Meet.
Open 17 tabs.
Lose your sanity.
Jokes aside, why does remote coding still feel so fragmented?
We have amazing tools individually, but collaboration somehow still feels like duct tape:
- Code in one place
- Discussion in another
- AI help in another tab
- Screen share when things inevitably break
At some point, it feels less like collaboration and more like βbro can you see my screen?β
Genuine question for people who pair program, mentor, or work remotely:
Does remote coding still feel messy to you, or are current tools already good enough?
