Get Comfortable Being Uncomfortable

Every real step up
started with me feeling out of my depth.

The role I wasn't ready for.
The talk that terrified me.
The problem bigger than my skills.

Comfort felt safe.
It was just a nicer word for stuck.

Here's the pattern I've watched
over a lot of careers:

growth and comfort
don't live in the same place.

The moment something feels easy,
you've stopped growing at it.
The stretch, the slight panic,
the "I'm not sure I can do this" —
that's not a warning sign.
That's the feeling of leveling up.

So chase a little discomfort on purpose.
Volunteer for the thing that scares you.
Be the least experienced person
in the room sometimes.

Comfort is a lovely place to visit.
Don't build your career there.

The stretch is where you become
who you're trying to be.
