AIHOT – A Simple Framework for Custom Hotspot Sites
AIHOT is an open‑source web framework that finds hot topics and creates daily reports automatically. It works with any data source you choose. By swapping the source and the selection rules, the site becomes a personal industry hotspot portal. The project is hosted on GitHub: https://github.com/KKKKhazix/AIHOT.
The core idea is to separate signal (the raw articles, tweets, or feeds) from selection (the criteria that define what is “hot”). Users only need to edit a small configuration file. The framework then crawls the sources, applies the rules, and generates a clean daily page.
# config.yaml – replace with your own sources and rules
sources:
- name: TechNews
type: rss
url: https://example.com/tech.rss
- name: SocialBuzz
type: twitter
query: #AI
selection:
min_score: 10 # only keep items with score >= 10
keywords:
- machine learning
- data science
max_items: 20 # show at most 20 items per day
After setting the file, run the command:
python run.py --config config.yaml
The script fetches the data, filters it, and writes a markdown report for the day. The output can be served with any static site generator or hosted directly.
AIHOT makes it easy to build a niche news hub without writing a full scraper. Change the sources, tweak the rules, and the site stays up‑to‑date with the latest industry trends. The lightweight design keeps deployment simple and the codebase clear. This approach works for tech, finance, health, or any sector where timely information matters.
