30 weeks
It feels strange to write that
When we started building BAINT, we thought a lot of the work would be about building the product
Write code
Test ideas
Improve the interface
Build something students could use
But 30 weeks later, we are learning that building the product is only one part of the work
A big part of the work is understanding what should come next
We have been quieter lately
If you have been following BAINT, you may have noticed that we have not been posting as much as before
We have not given up
We have not stopped building
We have not lost interest in BAINT
We have simply been spending more time away from the timeline
More conversations with students
More listening
More research
More thinking about what we have learned so far
And more time trying to understand where BAINT should go next
Sometimes the most important work does not produce a post
We are still talking to students
Student conversations remain one of the most important parts of our journey
Every conversation continues to show us something different
Some students need concepts broken down
Some need practical examples
Some struggle with memorization
Some struggle because the teaching method does not work for them
Some understand the theory but struggle when they have to apply it
Some simply need another way to look at the same concept
These conversations continue to shape how we think about learning
The more we listen, the more we realise that the problem is bigger than simply giving students access to information
We are also meeting other builders
Another thing we have started putting more energy into is networking
We are trying to meet other educational builders
People working on EdTech
People building AI products
People thinking about education from different angles
People who have already gone through some of the problems we are beginning to face
We do not expect every conversation to lead to something immediately
Sometimes the value is simply learning how another person thinks
Sometimes one conversation can change a direction
Sometimes it can show you that a problem you thought was unique is actually something many builders experience
We want to keep having those conversations
We are also looking for the right tools
Another part of our journey right now is hardware
We have been building and researching with the tools we currently have, but there are limits to what we can do without a proper laptop and better gadgets
We are currently reaching out and trying our best to find people or organisations who may be willing to support us with a laptop or useful gadgets that can help us build, test and improve BAINT
We are not sitting around waiting for someone to save us
We are asking
We are reaching out
We are exploring different opportunities
And we are doing everything we can with what we have
A better laptop would not simply be a comfort for us
It would be another building tool
It would help us develop faster, test more properly and take BAINT further

This is the question we are spending more time thinking about
What should BAINT become
What should we improve
What should we remove
What do students actually need from us
What can we build that is genuinely useful
And perhaps most importantly
What have we learned that should change the way we build
We do not want to build features simply because they sound good
We want the next stage of BAINT to come from what we have actually learned
From students
From testing
From conversations
From mistakes
From other builders
From the work we have already done
We are not rushing
There is always pressure when you are building something
You see other startups launching
You see founders announcing users
You see products raising money
You see people moving quickly
And sometimes you start wondering if you are moving too slowly
But we are learning that moving quickly is not always the same thing as moving in the right direction
We would rather understand the problem better than rush into building something students do not need
We would rather have real conversations than pretend we already know everything
We would rather keep learning than build around assumptions
30 weeks later
We are still early
BAINT is still growing
We are still testing
We are still learning from students
We are still meeting people
We are still trying to understand the education space
And we are still figuring out what comes next
That is what Week 30 is really about
Not having all the answers
But being willing to keep looking for them
Having information is not the same thing as understanding
And maybe building BAINT is teaching us the same lesson
Having an idea is not the same thing as knowing what to build
You have to listen
You have to test
You have to learn
Then you build again
Still here
We may post less sometimes
We may disappear from the timeline for a while
But that does not mean the work has stopped
There is still a lot ahead
More students to talk to
More builders to meet
More things to test
More lessons to learn
More people to connect with
And more work to do
30 weeks down
