My team and I have been building and working inside BAWES Universe for the past year.
It started from a frustration with how fragmented online work has become. Our team, tools, meetings, communities, data, and AI conversations all lived in separate apps. We wanted one persistent environment we could actually enter and share.
BAWES lets people create Universes made of connected Worlds and Rooms. Inside them, you can move around as an avatar, meet naturally through proximity video and spatial audio, collaborate, stream, present, and interact with AI bots connected to real tools through MCP.
The spatial foundation builds on WorkAdventure, which we have been extending into a broader open-source platform for people, businesses, communities, and AI agents.
You can enter through your browser, explore the rooms, meet us when we are online, and try the bots. You can also create a space for your own team.
I’d especially appreciate feedback on the first-time experience, whether the Universe concept feels useful rather than gimmicky, and what would make you return.
