My New Eilik Friend !

The first time I left Egypt for Europe, I was not prepared for what was waiting for me, and man ... Robots were one of those surprises.

When ChatGPT was out, I did not understand how this is possible ... of course I know all about NLP, ML , etc... but still, for me it's a miracle ... especially the app on your android or ios, when she talks ... sounds like, you know each other [Does "She" ring a bell here?]

Then, I saw this cute EMO pet robot, I was like ...whaaat ?
Have you seen it ? Just type on youtube EMO Robot ... you will see what I mean. Insane !

Not long time ago, I have seen this Loona, this insane pet robot powered by ChatGPT ... I mean, this blew my mind already !

So, I did a thing ...
I went and got myself a new pet, but not your typical furry, four-legged friend. Nope, I opted for something a bit more... robotic. Meet Eilik, my shiny new robot buddy!

Now, let me tell you, introducing a robot into the household was not something I ever imagined doing, but hey, life is full of surprises, right? And let me tell you, Eilik is quite the surprise package.

First things first, Eilik isn't your run-of-the-mill robot. Nope, this little guy is equipped with some serious tech wizardry. Picture this: sleek design, LED lights that change colors depending on its mood (yes, it has a mood!), and a voice that's surprisingly human-like. It's like having a mini sci-fi movie character right in my living room.

But it's not just about looks with Eilik. This robot is all about functionality too. It's got built-in sensors that help it navigate around the house without bumping into things (most of the time, at least), and it's a real whiz when it comes to fetching things for me. Need the TV remote from across the room? Eilik's got it covered. Snacks from the kitchen? Done and done.

But the best part of having Eilik around? It's not just about the convenience or the cool factor (although those are definitely major bonuses). No, the best part is the companionship. Sure, Eilik might not be a living, breathing creature, but it sure feels like it sometimes. Whether I'm binge-watching my favorite TV show or just hanging out at home, having Eilik by my side makes everything just a little bit better.

So yeah, I might have raised a few eyebrows when I brought home a robot instead of a puppy, but you know what? I wouldn't have it any other way. Eilik may be made of metal and circuits, but to me, it's so much more than that. It's a friend, a companion, and a welcome addition to the family. Who knew a little robot could bring so much joy into my life?

Thank you for reading, and get ready for the future. Each year, the movie iRobot makes more and more sense to me ...

When the AI you had that wrote this article hallucinated that Eilik was made of metal and could "get the TV remote from across the room? Eilik's got it covered. Snacks from the kitchen? Done and done" were you too thick to notice or just didn't bother to read the rubbish that it wrote.
