Facebook, Insta, WhatsApp down 👀

I curious when services like theses get down.
What kind of measures/steps are taken to revive them ?
Or it's just a scheduled downtime 🤔

Doubt it's scheduled downtime. Could be an issue with the servers, or someone simply unplugged the wrong thing. So many reasons for why a site is down :)

As for reviving them - if it's server related the dev ops will be frantically trying to get the servers back up, or getting makeshift backup servers running to prevent downtime from being too painful. Could be a lot of copying data if they're not synced.

Human error, it seems. I've found sites saying it was an error during a "routine maintenance operation". Odd thing is, Cloudflare had a similar blip earlier this week, and they were much more forthcoming and transparent with the cause, a bad deployment.

Mad respect to them for being transparent with the fault.

It’s always interesting when services like Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp go down. Sometimes it's due to server maintenance or updates, while other times it's unforeseen issues that need immediate resolution. If you're looking for a way to enhance your Instagram experience during such downtimes, Download Insta Pro. It’s a modified version of Instagram that unlocks premium features and removes restrictions, allowing you to download and save any image, video, or story directly to your device with ease.
