Hello.
If you want to experiment new things I would suggest Archethic. It's a new layer 1 Blockchain using UTXO and new gen of smart contract. The good thing is the high scalability, cost efficient with a strong consensus.
Even If it's a young project it can be worth it if you want to spent time on it.
