Simplifying RAG Pipelines: The Story Behind iQ Suite

Hey Dev.to fam! đź‘‹

We know it’s been a while, but that’s because we’ve been heads-down, building something we think you’ll love. Since late 2022, we’ve been on a journey to pivot from being a service provider to creating Gen AI products.

Through it all, our goal has been clear: build practical AI solutions that solve real-world problems. And, if you’ve ever worked with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, you know just how not fun they can be to set up. From managing vector databases to fine-tuning retrieval systems, the complexity can easily spiral out of control.

We’ve been there. Many, many times. Every solution we built felt like the “final approach,” only to evolve into yet another iteration. That’s when it hit us:

What if we could create a tool that handles all the hard parts of RAG pipelines?

Fast forward to today, and we’re excited to introduce iQ Suite! 🚀

Our platform takes care of everything:

  • Data ingestion: Page by page, text by text.
  • Contextualisation: Make your data retrieval-ready.
  • Vector database management: Handled behind the scenes.
  • Efficient retrieval: The best combinations, pre-tuned for performance.

Why? So you can skip the grunt work and focus on building the cool stuff.

We’ve designed iQ Suite to make generative AI pipelines as simple as an API call. Whether you’re prototyping or scaling, it’s a tool we wish we had when we were starting out.

And we want you to be part of the journey! To celebrate our launch, we’re offering a $1 signing bonus for early adopters.

Check us out at iqsuite.ai. Your feedback would mean the world to us as we continue to refine and improve the platform.

What’s been your biggest struggle with building RAG pipelines Drop a comment we’d love to hear your stories!

🚀 pgai Vectorizer: SQLAlchemy and LiteLLM Make Vector Search Simple

We built pgai Vectorizer to simplify embedding management for AI applications—without needing a separate database or complex infrastructure. Since launch, developers have created over 3,000 vectorizers on Timescale Cloud, with many more self-hosted.
