A first look at the roguelike boilerplate

I've been working on this game template you can use to make your own roguelike game using javascript and web tech. Today I recorded a short screencast showing what is included in the default game that comes with the boilerplate.

If you want to get hold of this when it comes out you can pre-order the package here: https://chr15m.itch.io/roguelike-browser-boilerplate

Enjoy!

Nice, I'll have to bookmark this for when it's done. As a web developer and budding game developer, this seems like the perfect way to learn game development with tools I'm familiar with.

Awesome, thanks Brian. I finally launched this thing yesterday. "web developer and budding game developer" is exactly who I made this for.

If you do check it out and have any feedback or suggestions I would love to get your input.
