I built a 100% Client-Side PDF & Media Tool using WASM (Zero Server Uploads)

I was getting really frustrated with "free" PDF and image formatting tools that either put a massive watermark on your files, hit you with a paywall after two uses, or worse—force you to upload your highly sensitive documents to their remote servers.

So, I decided to build my own solution: NanoFormatZero.

It's a completely free, serverless utility suite that runs entirely in your browser.

🚀 How it works

Instead of relying on a backend server, NanoFormatZero uses WebAssembly (WASM) and Web Workers to do all the heavy lifting locally in your device's RAM.
Your files literally never leave your computer.

✨ What it can do:

• PDF Tools: Compress PDFs by up to 50% without quality loss, merge/split documents, and use an AI-assisted redaction tool to permanently black out sensitive text.
• Media Rescue: Convert Apple's HEIC photos to JPG seamlessly, compress WebP, and run local background removal.
• Privacy Shield: Completely wipe hidden EXIF data and GPS coordinates from your photos before uploading them anywhere online.

There are no subscriptions, no data collection, and absolutely no limits. I built this to solve my own problems, and I'm hoping it can help some of you too.
