What's new
• There’s a little bell icon in the header now
• When there’s something new, it gets a cute pulsing dot
• Click it → a “What’s New” popup with all the release notes
• Once they open it, the dot goes away
No pop‑ups, no “rate my app”, no nagging.
How it works under the hood
Bloom doesn’t do accounts or analytics, so this whole thing runs on local storage:
• The app saves the last version the user has seen
• Each release has a “current version” in the changelog
• If those don’t match, the dot shows up
• When they open the popup, Bloom updates the stored version
That’s it. No servers, no tracking, no weirdness.
Thanks to anyone following along
