I like to utilize 'Time Blocking'
Allocate specific time blocks for different tasks. Doing this method helps you dedicate focused time to each task and minimizes the chances of multitasking, which can dilute your attention and efficiency.
Try not to be too hard on yourself. That sounds counter-intuitive, but going full throttle all day long (however long your day may be) is very challenging, and normally leads to burnout or at the very least, poor mental health.
Realize that you're going to procrastinate a bit, and it's ok to sit down and take a break. Maybe watch your favorite sport for a little bit, or just chill. In other words, it's a marathon, not a sprint.
Getting back to the original topic, I would certainly argue that slowing down and procrastinating from time to time does help with your level of focus. Your brain needs breaks, and it can't maintain focus for extended periods of time so... take breaks!
