I want to run a deep research pass:
- interviews with the founders of OpenAI;
- interviews with the founder or founders of Anthropic;
- interviews with the founders of other large LLM companies, Mistral, LLaMA and so on.
Very important: I need to look for two kinds of founders. The technical founder and the ideological founder.
I am looking for interviews where they talk about:
- which business opportunities they see, the ones that opened up because of artificial intelligence;
- which pains they have right now, while they are building artificial intelligence.
I need lab founders too: Google, the Chinese labs and others.
Why I am doing this. To work out for myself how to get hired into those labs, and which of their pains I can solve. And to understand which business opportunities they see.
As founders, they can see opportunities I cannot see, because I live on a different level.
I am an ant, I swim low and I run low, and they are at the level of labs, at the mega level. They are more highly developed creatures. I am a guppy, say, and they are whales.
They have a different picture of the world, and I need to understand that picture:
- business opportunities;
- the pains of the labs;
- how to build products, if they talk about that;
- which products will be in demand.
In short, I need to collect everything that touches business, and possibly everything that touches fundraising:
- which products are easiest to raise money for right now;
- which products, from their point of view, are hardest to raise money for.
What it is for: to understand how I should maybe pivot what I am doing now.
