MyZubster Circular Economy Pilot Projects: Hemp, Absorbent Products, Japan, and Singapore

From a broad vision to concrete pilot proposals

MyZubster is developing a portfolio of proposed pilot projects connecting:

  • Artificial intelligence
  • Environmental measurement

  • Digital rewards and tokenized records

The objective is to test small, measurable initiatives before presenting the model as a complete industrial solution.

The organizations named in this article have been contacted through exploratory emails or included as project interlocutors.

Their inclusion does not imply acceptance, endorsement, financing, contractual participation or a confirmed partnership.

Pilot 1: Japan Circular Care

MyZubster sent separate exploratory pilot proposals to Kao and Unicharm concerning a Japan-focused Absorbent Hygiene Products initiative.

The proposed pilot concerns products such as:

  • Baby diapers
  • Adult incontinence products

  • Other absorbent personal-care products

The objective is to explore how product design, collection, traceability and recovery might work together.

Why Japan?

Japan is an important reference for this work because of its experience with:

  • Advanced personal-care products
  • Product quality and manufacturing
  • Childcare
  • Elder care
  • Demographic change
  • High-density waste-management systems
  • Research into used diaper recovery

The proposed MyZubster Circular Care pilot would begin with mapping rather than manufacturing.

Possible first activities include:

  1. Mapping the lifecycle of an AHP product.
  2. Identifying the materials used in each layer.
  3. Studying collection and sanitation requirements.
  4. Defining measurable circularity indicators.
  5. Evaluating where hemp-derived fibers or cellulose might be tested.

Kao and Unicharm have been contacted as potential Japanese interlocutors. Their participation has not been confirmed.

Pilot 2: Open Absorbent Circularity

The proposed pilot focuses on the circularity of absorbent hygiene products.

The initial format is approximately four weeks and is designed to establish:

  • A preliminary implementation roadmap

This pilot does not assume that an entire diaper or sanitary pad can immediately become circular.

It begins by identifying:

  • Which fractions require specialist treatment
  • Which health and safety rules apply
  • Which environmental claims can be supported by evidence

Fater and EMBRACED have been contacted for exploratory discussion. No formal partnership is claimed.

KU Leuven and SSUCHY-Next

Pilot documentation was also sent to Professor Aart Willem Van Vuure at KU Leuven in connection with work concerning circular hemp and biomaterials.

The purpose of this contact is to explore the scientific and engineering questions behind natural-fiber applications.

CREA, Open Fields and Stuard

MyZubster contacted CREA regarding a verifiable industrial-hemp circularity pilot and the experience connected to the valorization of hemp by-products and waste.

Open Fields and Azienda Agraria Sperimentale Stuard were included among the technical and agricultural interlocutors.

The proposed pilot requires an officially recognized scientific or technical institution capable of supporting:

Comune di Capannori

The environmental office of the Comune di Capannori was contacted regarding a proposed pilot on reuse, waste and material-flow measurement.

A municipality could help evaluate the territorial side of circularity:

  • Replicability

Singapore is relevant because it combines technological development, international trade, urban constraints and a mature regulatory environment.

NUS Enterprise, the NUS Agritech Centre, Republic Polytechnic and UACOI have been contacted as potential technical or research interlocutors.

No collaboration or regulatory approval should be inferred from the outreach.

Pilot 6: Evidence-Based Tokens

The token component is not intended to finance an untested idea or create speculative value.

Its proposed role is to record or reward verified events inside a functioning pilot.

Examples might include:

  • A recovery result verified
  • An environmental indicator published
  • A participant completing an approved activity

The guiding rule is:

No evidence, no reward.

The token should not replace conventional money, regulated banking, legal contracts or independent verification.

Before any real-world launch, the model would require analysis covering:

Banco BPM is my personal banking reference.

A search of my sent project emails did not identify a formal pilot proposal sent to Banco BPM concerning these initiatives.

For this reason, Banco BPM is not listed as a pilot participant or contacted project organization.

A traditional bank could potentially support future needs such as:

  • Payments
  • Project finance
  • Working capital
  • Supply-chain finance
  • International transactions
  • Financial controls

Any future involvement would require a separate formal contact, assessment and written agreement.

The existence of a personal banking relationship does not imply endorsement, financing or partnership.

This system can search documented observations and generate answers grounded in retrieved sources.

In a pilot project, the AI layer could help answer questions such as:

  • Which material batches have verified origins?
  • Which observations concern recyclable packaging?
  • Where did contamination exceed the baseline?
  • Which recovery events have supporting evidence?
  • Which organizations are responsible for each stage?

Artificial intelligence should help people navigate evidence. It should not be allowed to invent project results.

The immediate priority is not to add more names. It is to convert outreach into a small number of clearly governed experiments.

  6. Data-protection rules
  7. Technical validation
  8. A final evidence report
  9. Permission before publishing participant names as partners

Until those conditions are met, the correct terminology is:
