MyZubster Devlog: From Videos to Neon Plaza, Darkode, and N4K48

Over the past few days, MyZubster has evolved from a collection of ideas, repositories, and visual assets into a more coherent and measurable experience.

The work covered several layers of the ecosystem: videos and images, comics, digital memory, characters, the Metaverse, onboarding, analytics, and experimentation with real contributors.

This article explains what we built, what is already public, and what remains a prototype requiring further verification.

From visuals to videos

MyZubster’s visual content is not intended only for promotion. Images, comic panels, and videos help explain the project’s evolution and make concepts easier to understand than code and documentation alone.

We organized and published new content related to:

the MyZubster ecosystem;
Zorgax;
Neon Plaza and the Metaverse;
the Space Station and its narrative network;
circular economy and environmental projects;
characters and contributors;
the comic and Darkode’s cultural memory.

These assets have been connected to the appropriate repositories and public project pages.

However, not every scene shown in a video or illustration represents a feature that is already operational. Some visuals also describe future directions.

For this reason, we distinguish between:

narrative content;
prototypes;
implemented features;
deployed features;
verified results.

This distinction is particularly important when an image shows environments, interfaces, or capabilities that are part of the vision but still need to be completed in the software.

The comic as a narrative interface

The comic has become one of the main entry points into the MyZubster world.

It is not used only to tell a story. It also connects people, projects, digital memory, and technical components.

The new panels include themes such as:

the city interpreted as a living organism;
Zorgax as a guide;
Neon Plaza;
the Space Station;
bot networks and community channels;
circular economy;
digital culture and the memory of early online communities.

The comic is not, by itself, technical or historical evidence. A panel can represent a vision, memory, or project hypothesis. Verifiable claims must remain connected to documentation, repositories, commits, or other reliable sources.

Darkode: memory, context, and transparency

We also published a page dedicated to Darkode:

This section reconstructs part of the cultural and personal context behind MyZubster.

Its purpose is not to turn memories and historical material into unsupported claims. Instead, the page attempts to separate:

documented facts;
personal memories;
archival material;
narrative interpretation;
elements that still need verification.

Darkode acts as a digital memory layer for the project. It connects the current MyZubster ecosystem with the online communities, experiences, and ideas that contributed to its development.

We also linked Darkode from the main website so that it is no longer an isolated destination outside the normal navigation path.

Neon Plaza: enter without registering

One of the Metaverse’s main problems was the distance between its promise and the actual user experience.

Simply saying “enter the Metaverse” is not enough. Visitors need to understand immediately:

what they can do;
how much time it will take;
whether registration is required;
whether they need a wallet;
what result they will obtain.

We therefore transformed Neon Plaza into an experience that can also be accessed as a guest:

Visitors can now:

choose a public display name;
automatically create a guest character;
enter without a wallet;
enter without a VR headset;
move using the arrow keys or WASD;
encounter other active characters;
use chat and emotes;
reach thematic portals;
access Zorgax, LIFE, the Marketplace, and the visual gallery.

The homepage now presents a direct call to action:

The principle is simple: show the experience first, then ask the visitor to register.

The first mission, guided by Zorgax

Entering the world should not leave users in front of an environment without a clear objective.

We therefore introduced a first mission:

Move your character and reach one of Neon Plaza’s glowing portals.

This mission lets visitors immediately experience movement and understand how the world is organized. After they reach their first portal, the system displays a completion message and proposes the next step.

This small objective has a precise purpose: converting a passive visit into a measurable first interaction.

The journey is now:

arrive from the homepage;
enter as a guest;
create a character;
enter Neon Plaza;
begin the first mission;
complete the mission;
receive the character-verification proposal;
register to save progress.

Verified characters, with clear boundaries

After completing the first mission, guests see this button:

Verify your character

In MyZubster, “verified” means that a character is connected to an account recognized by the system.

It does not mean:

legally certified identity;
certified professional skills;
an automatic right to rewards;
approval of every published claim;
authorization to use personal data or third-party material.

Publishing additional information requires separate consent.

An account-linked character can instead provide concrete benefits:

saved progress;
a persistent public character name;
personal missions;
links to authorized contributions;
recognizable participation in the ecosystem.

Nicola and the N4K48 character

One of our most concrete experiments involves Nicola and his character, N4K48.

With AI assistance, Nicola created three new comic panels about his journey:

“From a Software Idea to the Metaverse”;
“The Software Takes Shape”;
“Towards Neon Plaza.”

The images describe the journey from a software idea to its possible presence inside the MyZubster Metaverse.

The gallery is published in Nicola’s repository:

The panels have been connected to the project’s main page and to the N4K48 profile.

Previously existing MyZubster comics remain external references and are not attributed to Nicola.

This distinction helps avoid ambiguity between:

works created by Nicola;
MyZubster materials;
narrative references;
third-party elements;
content that still requires verification.

The NFT candidate panel

Nicola proposed panel 01, “From a Software Idea to the Metaverse,” as the first NFT candidate.

Its current status must be stated clearly:

the panel has been proposed;
the candidate has been documented;
a preliminary review sheet has been prepared;
no mint has taken place;
no blockchain, wallet, or smart contract has been selected;
no token ID or on-chain transaction exists.

We opened a dedicated pull request:

The review sheet still requires verification of:

the creative process;
the AI tool used;
the original file version;
any subsequent manual modifications;
external assets or fonts;
licensing conditions;
authorization to use MyZubster elements;
Nicola’s final approval;
any commercial terms or royalties.

The project is therefore ready for a rights review, not for minting.

Documentation must not turn a proposal into a result that does not yet exist. Only after a real on-chain operation could we record a contract address, token ID, and transaction hash.

From visits to conversions

We also redesigned parts of the homepage to reduce user drop-off.

The main calls to action now direct visitors toward:

trying Neon Plaza;
creating a profile;
proposing a pilot;
contacting MyZubster.

Traffic coming from Facebook is especially important. We are now measuring this funnel:

Facebook → homepage → Neon Plaza → mission → character verification → registration

The events introduced include:

metaverse_cta_clicked;
metaverse_loaded;
first_interaction;
mission_started;
mission_completed;
character_verification_started;
character_verification_completed;
signup_start;
signup_completed;
contact_request;
pilot_interest.

These events will help us understand exactly where visitors abandon the journey.

Measuring visits is not enough. We want to distinguish between:

initial discovery;
actual entry;
first interaction;
mission completion;
profile creation;
interest in a pilot;
a contact request.

What we learned

The main lesson is that an ecosystem does not grow simply by adding features.

We need to connect:

narrative;
experience;
identity;
consent;
measurement;
verifiable results.

Videos attract attention. The comic creates context. Darkode preserves memory. Neon Plaza turns the narrative into an experience. Zorgax guides the visitor. Missions provide an objective. Analytics tells us whether the journey actually works.

The work with Nicola and N4K48 adds another essential element: a real person contributing a character, an idea, and original content while keeping consent, provenance, and implementation status clear.

Next steps

Our next priorities are:

complete the review of Nicola’s NFT candidate panel;
improve character onboarding;
observe how visitors arriving from Facebook behave;
reduce drop-off between the first mission and registration;
make people, activities, and missions more visible inside Neon Plaza;
progressively connect the comic, Metaverse, Marketplace, and pilot projects;
publish only results supported by verifiable evidence.

MyZubster remains an open-source project built publicly, one step at a time.

We do not want to present a future vision as if it were already complete. We want to show the process, document the experiments, and gradually transform visits, ideas, and contributions into real results.
