Technical Debt and AI Coding Tools (Research Study)

I’m writing my bachelor thesis at ESADE on a question the literature has not yet explored in depth: How do organisations realise productivity gains from AI coding tools without quietly accumulating technical debt at the same pace?

If you’ve worked professionally with Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or a similar AI coding tool for six months or more, your perspective would meaningfully strengthen our analysis.

The survey takes around six minutes. Responses are confidential, and findings will be shared on request.

Forwards would be very appreciated. Thank you very much in advance!

Supervised by Esteve Almirall and Joan Rodon, ESADE.
