I am a moderator on some other forums online. Sometimes, it is hard to be nice to EVERYONE, especially when it seems like something is very obvious. But @michaeltharrington inspired me to be a kind to everyone, thorough in my responses, and remember that we are all special in different ways. He was very happy to take time out of his day to talk to me on dev, inspiring me to be more attentive and considerate.
Also, a shoutout to @thatcomputerguy (Griffpolk) for helping me get started on here. He was the first person I ever talked to on here and helped me get to know how to use the site and it's features (like Sloan, the welcoming post, etc.).
Thank you to all you dev moderators out there!
Wow! Thank you so much. That was super kind. 🥲
I was already having a good morning, now it's even better. ☕️🙂
Also, agreed that Griff is super cool — it's nice to hear how they welcomed ya like that!
And appreciate the shoutout you gave to the many awesome DEV mods! Those folks do a heckuva lot to help us foster a kind, helpful, inclusive community while also removing so much spam, reorganizing posts via tags, leaving comments from @sloan to advise folks across the site, and so much more. Thank ya for recognizing them here! 💚
You're welcome! It was the least I could do. I'm glad that I made you happy! 😍
I'm glad to be a part of this community, and you and

And to be honest, I'm pretty inspired by you too — you've done a whole lot this year and really your interview for Featured Mod of the Month was so uplifting and inspiring to read. I recommend it to any onlookers!
