Hello.

I only joined this platform because I heard it's where developers hang out. I'm working on what I can only describe as a "Domain agnostic modular collaborative flow-sheet editor with python scripting capabilities", which I plan to make fully open-source once I reach a minimum viable product. It's written in SvelteKit (Frontend) and Flask (backend). Basically it allows to make a flowsheet, add python scripts to either a stream or a component and modify the inputs and outputs of said streams/components using python scripting. And the domain agnostic thing? I mean it. It's designed in a way that one could load an Electrical Engineering module and a Chemical Engineering module and mix-and-match. More detailed explanation to follow in not the introduction thread.

I'm an environmental engineer, not a programmer or computer scientist. The only reason I've started working on this is because I have a use-case for such a software - I have some programming experience in Python, but front-end stuff is hard for me.

Hello, I'm Jack! I've been a software guy in Canada for almost 12 years now. My big focus has been Angular, but I'm well-versed in the .NET stack (C#/SQL). I currently host my side projects on Azure (thanks MSDN's free $200/month), but I also have my own AWS stuff on the side.

I do enterprise software for a job, but I also dabble in game development using Unreal or Unity! Gaming is my real passion!
