Hey Aleena, I'm happy to hear that you're transitioning to UI/UX, it's a really interesting field! I'd say that learning UX fundamentals (I like this website: lawsofux.com/) and how to use a tool like Figma is a must. There are tons of great online courses (even free ones) that teach you UI/UX design. A good resource for inspiration is dribbble.com/. I also enjoy YouTube videos in which people redesign the UI/UX of popular apps and websites. You could also start doing some freelance projects for a learning-by-doing approach. Hope this helps :)
