Originally from Ohio, I now reside in California for the time being, after 3 years in North Carolina, and 2 years in Japan before that! I currently work as an avionics electronics technician in the military, but will be changing my job to intelligence here soon.
I have always been incredibly fascinated by tech and computers, but as I am in my mid-twenties, I have more of a drive than ever to attempt to learn about how these things we call computers work and how I can add to the advancement of this technology. I am FAR from being a novice in this pursuit, and still consider myself a baby-beginner, as I've never fully escaped tutorial h*ll and have never taken on any projects of my own.

I've always been drawn to backend development. I consistently catch myself asking "What goes on after I press this button?" It's funny how much we think we know about the internet, but there is just so much out there. I am learning about HTTP and servers currently and as simple as this stuff might seem on the surface (HTTP, DNS, IP, client/server relationships) it is not! At least to me lol.

My name is Arihant, I go by Ari its just easier on everyone, I am currently 3 classes away from graduating with my masters in Computer Science. However, I did my bachelors in Microbiology and worked for 1 year in a hospital laboratory before transitioning to computer science. I have been learning how to code since the end of 2023 and would consider myself to be pretty competent now for someone with no previous background in the field.

Hi, older IT consultant who has been out of the consulting business (but still has been doing development for my own apps) for the last 15 years but wants to pick up the job and get up to date with newer technologies fast. I'm thinking legacy/on-prem to cloud consultancy, technical writing, various analysis jobs, cloud, security, and such.
