Love these good ol' dev discussions. Recently, i have been thinking about creating a new genre of discussions: "What were your failures this week?" or something along this line. tbh, success and failure is a man made up construct. It is 100% subjective and varies from person to another. I don't like talk about it sometimes.
I think this new genre will allow us devs to reflect on our own failure in an open collective inclusive way and understand what went wrong and of course help each other to achieve a goal etc.
My win for this week was welding for a new client in the hood! My welding biz has been buzzin' lately. I will share photos about my welding later on once i get my hands on my phone. fyi, I learned welding during college days, but didn't know why we were learning it back then while studying engineering. Now in the age of AI, I 100% understand. I will share my thoughts on the matter in a separate post.
Edit: For my own safety, privacy reasons and cz of the war here in lebanon, i decided to remove the pic. My humble mossad agents are trying to know my exact location. bye!

I got picked for the top 7 featured this week, and what still gets me is which piece they chose.
it wasnt a result. it was me saying openai claims verified defenders get more access, im going to test that, and promising to report it either way. i still dont have the answer. the test got slower and messier than i planned for.
the better thing happened underneath it though. one reader stayed and we went fourteen comments deep in a single thread, and somewhere in there he named a variable i had collapsed. that thread moved the work more than the feature did.
so the thing im keeping from the week is that publishing the open question is what brings you the people who help close it. congrats to everybody else in here.
My win this week was staying consistent with learning and making steady progress, even on the days when things felt slow.
Finally publishing a security failure instead of just the polished fix. 🔐
It was a little uncomfortable, but the discussion it sparked has been one of the best parts of my week. Definitely a win. 🚀

Had some progress in my backend development Journey, Successfully developed APIs to create, add, update and delete cart items from a database. This was done using NestJs
Cleaned up the ACLs of my Tailnet. Before that I used tagged resources for user devices and it was just a mess that somehow did its job.
started calisthenics and very good progression in doing pushups , able to do like 60 to 80 pushups now
