I received a special invite for a super cool hack time project. Although, I dunno if I'm still gonna appreciate that as much later, cause I'm so busy right now I don't know when I'll actually get a chance to look at it unless I'm already clocked out πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ•“πŸ”œ

My win this week was finally squashing a stubborn bug that had been blocking a feature release for days! πŸžπŸŽ‰ It felt great to turn frustration into progress. What about you all? Would love to hear your wins!

🎯 My Win This Week: Built a Forum on Redis 8!

After putting in considerable effort, I successfully built and tested a forum application based on FastAPI and Redis 8. The goal was to challenge the conventional wisdom that Redis is "just a cache" and prove it can be a unified platform for an entire application.

I focused on creating a stable foundation that the community can build upon if there's interest. The forum features AI-powered spam moderation, vector search for similar posts - all powered by a single Redis 8 instance.

πŸš€ Want to see it in action? I invite you to test the live demo! No registration required!

Check out the full technical breakdown and live demo here:

Would love to hear your feedback and thoughts! πŸ’

Losing my laptop.

The laptop breaking and inability to fix it made me reconsider my plans and direction. It made me sit and think for once instead of trying to always do something that amounted to nothing more than chasing trends.

Sounds like a painful experience, but an overall win. Sometimes disconnecting for a bit can go a long way in rediscovering yourself!
