I received a special invite for a super cool hack time project. Although, I dunno if I'm still gonna appreciate that as much later, cause I'm so busy right now I don't know when I'll actually get a chance to look at it unless I'm already clocked out π€¦ββοΈππ
My win this week was finally squashing a stubborn bug that had been blocking a feature release for days! ππ It felt great to turn frustration into progress. What about you all? Would love to hear your wins!
Heading on vacation βοΈ to let my brain reboot, defragment, and make more space to download some new project and article ideas.
I'm uploading my second post on Dev.to so I happy.
Congrats, and welcome to Dev.to!
Just returning from vacation and mostly caught up! Looking forward to a boring weekend and regular work week on Monday.
Published my first blog here today after taking a 2.5 year break! So much changed during this time. Super excited to get back into consistent blogging to document my startup journey.
Great well done.

π― My Win This Week: Built a Forum on Redis 8!
After putting in considerable effort, I successfully built and tested a forum application based on FastAPI and Redis 8. The goal was to challenge the conventional wisdom that Redis is "just a cache" and prove it can be a unified platform for an entire application.
I focused on creating a stable foundation that the community can build upon if there's interest. The forum features AI-powered spam moderation, vector search for similar posts - all powered by a single Redis 8 instance.
π Want to see it in action? I invite you to test the live demo! No registration required!

Made some small projects, but proud to be consistent this time.
Built a few small projects making use of agents.
Also, I bought a new watercolor set and managed to make a half-decent piece π
Losing my laptop.
The laptop breaking and inability to fix it made me reconsider my plans and direction. It made me sit and think for once instead of trying to always do something that amounted to nothing more than chasing trends.
Sounds like a painful experience, but an overall win. Sometimes disconnecting for a bit can go a long way in rediscovering yourself!
Published an app that I had been working on for like a month!
I hosted my first fullstack web app on the internet yesterday, though it's a practice projects, but things get more interesting here on
Impressive!
I gave a try to build a local gradio app then used it as an MCP locally :
Spent the last week working non-stop on my site mukeshkdesigns(dot)comβ¦ and itβs already at 11 DR in just 7 days! Hard work really does pay off.
Just have been building simple markdown parser and figured out regex rules for parsing markdown and converting them to html.
