My book was officially approved and scheduled! The contract is still cooking, but the project is launching.
Also there's a minor thing of me starting a new job this week, it being fun, and already starting to make an impact.
Can you share the subject/title?
Not specifics until I'm in contract, but early / intermediate dotnet related.
I am now under contract and can share the book is called "Refactoring with C#"
Wow, congrats!
I had to present a topic on engineering culture at the company which was getting delayed for different reasons but this week I finally presented it and had 100+ participants.
Heck yeah!!
Starting learning Golang, since I am mainly C# developer i would really like to learn something else on my free time so after a good amount of thinking and research i decided to continue with Go. Lets hope this will be a good journey...
How are you liking it so far?
It's nice to use something more simple in terms of syntax and not so strict in terms of "building". To be fair though it's really refreshing learning something different
I was on a panel for Front-End Test Fest!

I also started learning python.
I launched a SaaS MVP called crudl me that provides an adaptable, REST-like API and data storage.
Maybe I'll write an article about it soon..
my post from last week has been featured in the newsletter of 2 AWS Serverless Heroes. 💪🚀🤩
Awesome!
Spent two hours at my dentist yesterday for a root canal. Roots have been disintegrated! Sore today but pain free finally.
Woot! Heyo that's good news! 😁
Also, we must be on the near-same dental schedule. I was at the dentist on Wednesday.
Fixed a 2 week php bug:)))
I finished my proposal for a new workflow for the office. TBH, I hated writing a lot of it because the tone of the writing is not how I prefer to communicate (I hate using corporate sounding language to describe things). But I do see the value in completing the exercise, both for the organization and myself.
I did a deep-dive and really learned how to use features in Rust and cargo.
I got invited into closed beta of Deno KV! I’m so excited to try this and you can expect some articles about it soon 🤓
Very nice!! I'll be on the lookout for those articles. 🙌
Awesome!
My win for this week was participating in the Five Global Low-Code Hackathon. It was my first time working with a low code tool. I created a Drug Store application using the amazing features of Five.
Here is the link to a demo video of the application - youtube.com/watch?v=rCp4u1sOOqE

I made to the end of the week. Let’s just say React Native and I are not friends.
It is a small one, but I developed this neat looking feedback component.
OOooo, that is pretty neat looking! Nicely done. 🔥
In this week I have upgrade Angular Application from Angular 13 to Angular 15 and feel very proud.
Was it smooth or rocky?
Had two talks that went really well, doing two more next week.
Finally had a breakthrough with the Shopify work I 'm doing. I've got something running albeit not as I wanted but it's OK.
My win this week was I started building a portfolio project using Remix!
Nice!
Received my first DevOps certification (DevOps Foundation) through a workforce development training program that I've started this Tuesday.
Had five interviews for 3 different positions over yesterday and today. Proud I got through it but my brain is mush right now.
My article hit over 12,000 views in less than 7 days: dev.to/github/prompt-engineering-f... 😄
I finished reading and implementing 30 days of react book. Also, started more about react testing and how npm libraries are made.
Getting into langchain
Congrats
