Shared context — they know what you're building and why, not just this week's ticket.
Owns outcomes — cares whether it works, not whether the ticket closed.
Presence — shows up in standups; unblocks in the same conversation.
Genuine care — flags the out-of-scope thing about to break.
The question isn't "are they close?" but "do they act like it's theirs?"
