Introducing VitalCare
VitalCare is a community healthcare assistance platform we're building to connect people who need urgent assistance with registered, verified healthcare professionals and eligible care providers: doctors, healthcare professionals, attendants, caregivers, and trained responders.
The problem is simple
In urgent moments, people lose time searching, calling around, and guessing. Meanwhile, capable providers nearby often have no way of knowing someone needs help.
Our approach: build the trusted network first
VitalCare starts with the people. Providers can register with their role, experience, qualifications, availability, and contact details, along with supporting information where appropriate. Verification and consent are part of the foundation, because trust in a network like this can't be an afterthought.
Where we are today
Provider registration is open. Eligible professionals can apply now to become part of the VitalCare network. VitalCare interface for users is currently in production as we are still building it and collecting providers.
Where we're headed
Here is the workflow we're building toward:
SOS request → location sharing (with the user's permission) → smart matching → provider notification → assistance
Matching is designed to consider emergency type, distance, provider availability, relevant skills and qualifications, and verification status. Future capabilities include request status tracking, emergency contacts, secure authentication, and admin verification and management. These are in development and not yet live.
What makes VitalCare different
A standard SOS button sends an alert. A healthcare directory gives you a list.
VitalCare is being designed to do the harder part: identify verified, relevant, available providers near a person in need, and connect them through a consent-based, trust-first system.
VitalCare is meant to complement doctors, hospitals, ambulances, and emergency services, not replace them.
