Day 1381 : The Wave

liner notes:

  • Saturday : Printed some 3D models and did some laser engraving before heading to the radio station. The stuff came out pretty good. Made my way to the station and had a good time as usual. The recording of this week's show is at https://kNOwBETTERHIPHOP.com

  • Sunday : Did my study session at https://untilit.works and got my normal tasks completed. I decided that I would set up a DTF printer that I got last year and never used. I didn't have a need at the time. I'm thinking about creating some items that I can use it for. So I get everything ready and about to pour in the inks and notice that the White ink didn't see right. I looked it up and it seems that the ink can go bad after a year. Did a bunch of research to see what I needed to do. I ordered some more ink from the manufacturer, but I'm not sure how long it will take. I did some research on other ink manufacturers, but it seems like it's best to stay with the manufacturer's brand. I also started working back on my company's website since I got the word that one of the clients wanted to shout me out on social media since that really liked what I made for them.

  • Professional : Today was pretty good. Had a meeting to start the day. Spent the rest of the day reading over an email I'll be sending to see if we can get some pre-production hardware for some workshops I'm working on. I want it to be as informational as possible. Trying to get on the wave before everyone else. Had a meeting with my manager and spoke about a bunch of topics. I had them run through a tutorial I finished up last week and they were able to get it up and running with no issues. There were a couple of tweaks to the UI that I needed to change, so I did and pushed another version of the tutorial.

  • Personal : So, I started back work on my company's website. The catalyst was that the folks who I made some products for said they really like them and wanted to shout me out on social media so I need to have a thing people can learn more. The structure was already there, I just need to fill in some content. I used an AI tool to build the UI using some newer Web Technologies and was able to knock it out and integrate it into my site.

A breathtaking, high-angle aerial view looking directly down from the top of Angel Falls, where a massive white column of water plunges into a deep, misty canyon. The sheer, vertical rock faces of the tepui are composed of ancient, layered sandstone in shades of rust-red, ochre, and grey. Lush green vegetation and dense tropical forest cling to the edges of the plateau and the canyon floor, contrasting with the stark, rocky cliffs. The perspective captures the dizzying height and immense power of the waterfall as it descends into the clouds. The setting is Kerepakupai Meru (Angel Falls), Venezuela.

Going to finish up the site and send it to some folks to make sure the information is correct. Since it's the first of the month, I'm going to pay my bills. Also have to remember to do my Japanese lessons. Going to eat dinner and get started.

Have a great night!

peace piece
