This is a question I keep coming back to.
Engineering teams today already have everything:
GitHub, Jira, Slack, CI/CD, AI agents - every signal of work is already somewhere in the system.
Yet most teams still rely on daily standups to understand what’s happening.
So the question is:
Are we doing daily standups the right way?
I also got to try standzero.ai, and instead of trying to replace the daily standup like other platforms, it takes a different approach - it acts as an operating system for standups. Teams start their day with it, similar to how they start with tools like GPT, Claude, and other AI systems.
It also feels like a shift in how teams start their day. Instead of checking multiple ticketing and project management tools before the daily, everything is centralized in StandZero. The full context is already there and continuously updated.
Rather than trying to eliminate the daily standup like most existing platforms, this approach seems to be pointing in a different direction - keeping the standup, but making it context-driven by default.
