Ekop Designz Hub is a Nigerian design studio and software company built in Lagos, creating for Africa and the world.
Lagos doesn’t wait. It moves, it hustles, it reinvents itself every hour. That’s the city we come from, and that’s how we work. We built Ekop Designz Hub because we saw two gaps: businesses with big ideas but weak design, and creators drowning in tools that were ugly, bloated, or built for someone else. So we fixed both.
We operate on two fronts:
Ekop Designz — our client services arm. This is where we do the 1-on-1 work. We start by hearing you. “Ekop” means hearing, and we take that literally. Before we touch Figma, before we pick colors, we listen. To your market, your customers, your frustrations, your goals. Then we design. Brand identities that make people trust you in 3 seconds. User interfaces that feel obvious, not clever. Websites that load fast on a Lagos 4G network and convert visitors into customers. We’ve designed for startups in Yaba, SMEs in Lekki, and creators in Surulere who just needed to look as serious as they are. If you need it designed, we’ll design it for you — but only after we’ve heard you properly.
D’Ekops — our software arm. This is where we productize our pain. After hearing hundreds of founders and designers complain about the same problems, we stopped nodding and started building. D’Ekops is a suite of simple, design-first SaaS tools made by designers, for people who build. No 200-page manuals. No features you’ll never use. Just software with taste that solves real workflow problems. We got tired of switching between 6 apps to send a proposal, get feedback, and invoice a client. So we built the tool we wanted. If we designed it, you can do it yourself. D’Ekops is how we scale good design beyond client work.
Why the name works:
Ekop = hearing. Our entire process starts with empathy. We don’t assume — we ask, we listen, we understand.
Designz = modern craft. The “z” is intentional. This isn’t your uncle’s print shop. It’s design for the internet age, for Gen Z founders, for a world that swipes fast.
Hub = we don’t work alone. Ekop Designz Hub is a center of gravity for talent, ideas, and projects. Clients, designers, developers — everyone meets here.
'D' = the premium mark. Like Dior, like D’Angelo. It signals curation, taste, and intent. D’Ekops tools are opinionated because good design always is.
What we believe:
Good design isn’t decoration — it’s leverage. A better logo won’t save a bad business, but a bad logo will kill a good one. Good software shouldn’t need a YouTube tutorial. If your mom can’t figure it out in 30 seconds, we failed. We believe African problems deserve African solutions, but African solutions can compete globally. That’s why we build from Lagos with the world in mind.
Where we’re headed:
Ekop Designz keeps us close to real problems. Every client call makes D’Ekops better. D’Ekops lets us serve 10,000 people instead of 10. The studio pays the bills now. The software pays us forever. That’s the game.
