I'm 66, don't write code, and just launched a senior protection service with AI

Hey DEV. I'm Eli.

A year ago I had an idea: protect seniors from the scammers who target them daily. I can't write code. But I can direct AI.

Here's what I shipped:

THE BLANKET — blanketguard.com

Python backend (REST API, customer DB, automated emails)
Guardian number system — every customer gets a unique verified identity
Phone app prototype (PWA)
Marketing site, TikTok videos, investor deck

All built by directing Claude (Anthropic's AI). I architected, it coded. I reviewed, tested, deployed.

The stack: Python stdlib only, Ubuntu VPS, Gmail SMTP, vanilla JS. No frameworks. Lean.

What I learned:
You don't need to write code to ship software anymore. You need to know WHAT to build, HOW to direct, and how to verify the output. The bottleneck shifted from typing to thinking.
