This is the 7th book I finished reading in 2024. This series of historical essays are books I use for leisure reading. Plus, it seems to have a lot of interesting illustrations and good little stories. So I bought it.

# Thoughts:
This book describes some of the most important battles of the past one or two hundred years, and through a vivid and interesting tone, it lets everyone know the origins of many wars, and how to analyze the relevant causal relationships. For example, World War I was triggered by the ambitious Germany encountering related disputes. But the reparations of World War I were also the fuse that triggered World War II. The related strategic elements and several major battles are also shared with a humorous tone and interesting historical facts.
The subsequent invasion of China, plus the Chinese Civil War, is also described very well. It really makes people see that human history is really a war. But as readers, we must understand that war is not just the superficial related imagery, nor is it just a matter of a few people's personal feelings. It is often intertwined with the interests of many countries and many historical factors. This book can really allow people to absorb relevant knowledge in a relaxed mood.
