How It Works Under the Hood (Technical View)
- Authentication: OAuth 2.1 (same standard as “Sign in with Google”)
- Transaction Flow: Agent constructs JSON-RPC request → stored on MCP server → user approves via Base Account link → agent polls for confirmation
- Security Model: No private keys on the MCP server. All signing happens in the user-controlled Base Account. Mitigates phishing and domain hijacking risks common in traditional web3 UIs.
- Compatibility: Works with any MCP-supporting AI client
