FirstSignal (https://firstsignal.top) publishes one number per company per day: a 0–100
growth-momentum score built only from official public information.
The five components and their weights
| Component | Weight | What it captures |
|---|---|---|
| AI demand | 30% | disclosed demand signals: bookings, backlog, sold-out capacity language |
| Capacity | 20% | announced buildout: data centers, supply agreements, deployed capacity |
| R&D | 20% | disclosed R&D spend and shipped technical milestones |
| Sales | 15% | reported revenue trajectory and sales-motion disclosures |
| Expansion | 15% | new markets, new segments, partnerships and geographic expansion |
Why weight it this way
Demand is the earliest and least ambiguous signal that an AI business is compounding, so it
gets the largest share. Capacity and R&D are the commitments a company makes when it believes
its own demand. Sales confirms it more slowly, and expansion is real but noisiest.
Pipeline
- Pull official public sources only: company press releases, filings, official announcements.
- Extract component-level evidence per company per day.
- Normalize each component to 0–100, apply the weights above, publish the blended score.
What it is not
- Not a price forecast, not investment advice. It measures operating momentum, not the stock.
- Not a fitted model — the weights are explicit judgement calls, published so you can disagree.
- Not broad coverage yet: live for ABBV, CRWV and ALAB while the pipeline is validated.
