Google has expanded its Google Meet Take Notes for Me feature to individual users with Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra subscriptions. Earlier, this AI-powered tool was mainly available to eligible Google Workspace users.
Powered by Gemini AI, the feature automatically creates meeting summaries, highlights important discussions, and lists action items while your meeting is in progress. This lets you stay focused on the conversation instead of spending time writing notes.
After the meeting, your notes are saved to Google Drive, making it easy to review key points whenever you need them. You can enable the feature during a Google Meet call or set it to work automatically from your Meet settings. To keep everyone informed, Google also notifies all participants when AI note-taking is turned on.
At the moment, the feature is available to Google AI Pro, Google AI Ultra, and eligible Google Workspace users. It is not yet available for free Google Meet accounts.
