I Built a Free Sports Analytics Dashboard for NBA and NFL Fans

As a sports fan and developer, I've always wanted a single dashboard where I could track live scores, check betting odds, and dive into player statistics without jumping between multiple apps. So I built one.

Introducing StatFlow

StatFlow is a free, open sports analytics dashboard for NBA and NFL fans. No account required, no paywalls - just clean data visualization.

Features

Live Scores & Game Data

  • Real-time scores for NBA and NFL games
  • Game schedules and upcoming matchups
  • Historical game results

Betting Odds Integration

  • Live betting lines from major sportsbooks
  • Spread, moneyline, and over/under odds
  • Compare odds across different sources

Player Statistics

  • Comprehensive player stats and performance metrics
  • Season averages and game-by-game breakdowns
  • Easy-to-read visualizations

Tech Stack

Built with modern web technologies:

  • React for the frontend
  • Next.js for server-side rendering
  • Tailwind CSS for styling
  • Deployed on Vercel

Why I Built This

I got tired of:

  1. Paying for premium sports apps
  2. Dealing with cluttered UIs full of ads
  3. Switching between multiple apps for different data

StatFlow aims to be the clean, free alternative that puts all the data in one place.

The project is still in active development, and I'd love your feedback! What features would you like to see? Any bugs you've noticed?

Drop a comment below or reach out - I'm always looking to improve it.

What sports analytics tools do you use? I'd love to hear about your workflow!
