The internet has billions of websites, but somehow I keep visiting the same five.
So I built WAYPOINT.

The original idea was to let users type what they wanted and use AI to find the perfect website.
Then I realized something.
Why wouldn’t they just use Google?
So I changed the idea completely.
Instead of searching, you choose what you feel like doing:
I’m Bored → Rabbit Holes
Sports → Football
Tools → Images
Learn → Science
Play → Puzzle
WAYPOINT then gives you a hand-picked collection of websites worth visiting.
It currently has 15 main categories, dozens of subcategories, and around 90 website entries.
I wanted it to feel less like a boring directory and more like choosing a destination, so I added a black background, moving stars, grid lines, colorful cards, and different themes for each section.
I also broke every button several times while building it.
Eventually, I stopped patching the broken code and rebuilt the interaction system. That worked.
Now it’s live, and I’m curious whether anyone would actually use it.
