A few hours ago I wrote about whether open source projects should start collecting emails early.
While working on the project today, I finished the first version of the email subscription feature.
The email subscription is now live on the DebugProbe website.
The goal is simple:
- no marketing emails
- no spam
- no unnecessary notifications
Only important updates about:
- new releases
- major features
- significant project updates
I'm still experimenting and learning, but I think having a direct way to reach people who are interested in the project is valuable.
