At TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, Bluesky introduced new Attie platform features that leverage AI to allow users to build websites, games, and polls without traditional programming.
These creations are tied to the AT Protocol (ATProto), allowing users to integrate content with their existing profiles.
The platform, which currently serves 47 million users, is also testing private data storage implementations.
This update simplifies user-generated content workflows by supporting both custom and open-weight AI models.
How content creation works
The platform leverages the user's public profile to suggest content ideas. Creators have flexibility in their choices, as they can use either their own artificial intelligence models or ready-made options that are widely available.
These creations are directly linked to the user's Bluesky profile through a system called AT Protocol. In this way, the content that each person creates is integrated into the social network experience.
Changes in management and future plans
The company is moving forward with this expansion under new leadership. Toni Schneider now holds the position of CEO, while Jay Graber, who previously held the same role, has taken on the role of chief innovation officer since March 2026.
