New Sanket plugin for GNOME appearance changes

Sanket is a GNOME Shell extension compatible with versions 45 through 51 that allows developers and Linux users to customize the date menu, calendar, notifications, and Quick Settings with flexible layouts and Android-style toggles.

Sanket allows you to make changes to the notification and basic options area. You can, for example, place notifications below the quick settings as a separate area or even integrate them into them. In addition, the quick settings toggles can shrink to dots when space is limited, reminiscent of Android's behavior.

Customization options also include displaying up to two rows of control buttons, the option to keep volume and brightness settings visible when the screen is in small mode, and a special editing feature that lets you change the order of elements with drag and drop.

With Sanket, you can see only the most recent notification by default, although there is the option to pin important notifications. Weather from the GNOME Weather app can be condensed into a single animated icon, while world time zones can be displayed with analog icons.

You don't necessarily need to use all the available features. You can keep the classic look and use the plugin only to hide elements, such as the calendar header or upcoming events lists. The tool's settings feature visual previews for many of the available options.

Sanket works on GNOME Shell versions 45 through 51, and can be installed directly from the GNOME add-ons website or via the add-on manager application on your computer.
