The base model offers 12 gigabytes of memory and 256 gigabytes of storage, while there are options that go up to 16 gigabytes of memory and 1 terabyte of storage. The phone has a 9.000mAh battery, supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. For comparison, the previous model, the OnePlus 15, had a 7.300mAh battery and won a lab award for the longest battery life among Android phones.

In the photography department, the main camera is 200 megapixels with a 1/1.4-inch sensor and a faster f/1.4 aperture. On the back there are also 50 megapixel cameras for wide-angle and zoom shots, while the front camera for selfies is also 50 megapixels.

The device comes in three colors: Tomorrow's Starlight, Dark Forest, and Mars Masterpiece. The Tomorrow's Starlight color stands out thanks to the LED lighting on the back that forms the number 16 and flashes depending on notifications or when the battery is low.

The offering price in China was set at 5.699 yuan, which is about $850. Fans of the brand in the United States who are considering bringing the device from abroad should be aware that they will face risks regarding warranty and easy repairs.
