As first post on Dev.to, not experienced in share my thoughts publicly
I graduated in 2019 but started a job in 2022 in software engineering as integration developer.
it is 4 years works experience but i feel i only have one year.
mainly my tasks were develop and API using this swagger sometime it have some logic and other just be proxy "Tech: IBM API Connect"
the development was easy as there is already developed API so mostly copy and paste with small changes
and now with AI, I feel lost and can't improve or something feel worth it, even though spoke with my uncle and gave advice "افضل وقت تبدأ اهو امس" - "The best time to start was yesterday. The next best time is now"
I can't set clear goal to improve. as in my job we mainly use IBM API Connect, Java Spring boot. as working with fintech companies.
wanted to post this to get insights from here. hope to start improving as I'm not satisfied with my self
