As a fun hobby project I’ve been vibe coding apps. I write code manually every day with the assistance of various agents, but I do find that as I get more comfortable with them I give them more and more responsibility, with more and more manual reviews. Sometimes it feels like our industry is shifting to a state where humans will mostly be reviewing machine-written code. We aren’t there yet, to create a quality product an engineer still needs their hands on the code pretty regularly (IMO) but I wanted to experiment with two things that intrigue me about vibe coding.
1) what works and what doesn’t
2) how well does this enable to me to POC every half-baked idea my brain concocts?
