Can you share more about your journey & hurdles you faced during technical interviews before joining IK?
Before IK, I failed many interviews with Microsoft and Facebook. I was so frustrated and confused about the interview process that I almost gave up on my FAANG dreams. That was when I decided to join IK because I needed guidance from some real FAANG+ engineers. Joining IK has been one of the best decisions I have made in my career.
How was your learning experience at IK?
Brightest minds have created the education material at IK after going through many interview processes and patterns, so I trusted the process and immersed myself in the preparation. As a result, I was able to crack leadership positions at companies like Google, Uber, and many other startups. I did serious preparation with IK and took full advantage of the mock interviews, the system design patterns, and templates from IK. They are super helpful, and no system design book comes close.
I believe that without IK, I wouldn't have been able to crack interviews of companies like Google and Uber in the first shot itself.
What advice would you give candidates aspiring to work at FAANG+ companies?
Don't think of tech interviews as a competition you can win. Instead, think of it as a process to make you a better engineer once you have become a better engineer, and once you have solved and fixed all your flaws through mock interviews, without a doubt, you can crack any FAANG+ interview.
