For my Digital Marketing coursework at uni, I had to build a website and drive traffic to it over 14 days using real marketing channels,
no paid ads, zero budget.
The site is a concept product called SpectrumSR, an AI-powered audio enhancement tool. I didn't build the actual AI, it's a concept microsite built for the marketing exercise.
What I tried:
- WhatsApp groups
- Email campaigns to uni student groups
- Reddit (got blocked due to low karma 😅)
- Dev.to (this post 👋)
What actually worked:
Still figuring that out, which is exactly why I need more visits to build meaningful data for my report.
If you're curious what a student digital marketing campaign looks like in practice, the site is here:

Any visit genuinely helps my analytics data. And if you've done something similar, what channels worked best for you?
